Cattery facilities & care in Whangarei
The cattery is a secure facility with 18 individual cages each with their own bedding, food and water bowls, toys and litter tray. In addition to their roomy cages, guests have access to an adjoining sunny outside garden area with climbing frames and grass to play on. Cages are cleaned and cats receive individual care every day they are with us.
To protect all of our visitors, owners will need to produce a current vaccination certificate from your vet. We will not accept unvaccinated cats. Please note that your cats latest vaccination will need to be at least 10 days prior to their arrival, and no longer than 12 months prior to their departure. If in doubt please talk to your vet. We also appreciate cats that arrive flea and worm free. Should your cat become ill while they are with us, please be assured they will be well cared for. Should they require it, we will arrange treatment by your own vet, or the Mill Road Vet Clinic. We will also administer flea and worm treatment if required. Vet and treatment costs will be added to the final invoice payable by the owner. Your furry friends are fed twice a day, morning and afternoon. Normally we provide Purina dry food for our guests, but will serve special diets provided by owners. We would be pleased to administer any medications or special diets that your cat may require. Just provide the medicine and or food with clear instructions and we will do the rest. Regular pick up and drop off times are between 8.00 and 10am, and 3.30 and 5pm. Times outside of these hours or home pick up and delivery can normally be organised by prior arrangement. |
