Magnolia Cattery Whangarei
Leonie and Peter Marshall bought their Vinegar Hill home on over 2 acres of park like grounds in 2012. Leonie decided to fulfill her long held dream and established Magnolia Cattery when Peter retired in late 2017. The cattery is named after the several magnolia trees that they have planted where they live with Josie their cocker spaniel and cats Max and Rosie. Leonie and Josie volunteer as a St Johns outreach therapy team visiting local hospitals and rest homes bringing comfort to those who need it most.
The cattery is a secure facility with 18 individual cages each with their own bedding, food and water bowls, toys and litter tray. In addition to their roomy cages, guests have access to an adjoining sunny outside garden area with climbing frames and grass to play on. Cages are cleaned and cats receive individual care every day they are with us. To protect all of our visitors, owners will need to produce a current vaccination certificate from your vet. We will not accept unvaccinated cats. Please note that your cats latest vaccination needs to be at least 10 days prior to their arrival, and no longer than 12 months prior to their departure. If in doubt please talk to your vet. Regular pick up and drop off times are between 8.00 and 10.00am, and 3.30 and 5.00pm. Times outside of these hours or home pick up and delivery can normally be organised by prior arrangement. |
